Family Beach Session | Falmouth, MA | Cape Cod Photographer

Over the weekend I had the pleasure to photograph this amazing family on their family beach! This family of four had me laughing and swooning over how well this brother and sister got along. They were so sweet and so fun to hang out with. AND THEIR DOG. Ah, I totally fell in love. I hope that this beautiful mama decks her walls with these images... everything looks even better in print<3

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

Life Unscripted | Vol. 11

Thanks for joining us for another month of Life Unscripted! Be sure to follow the circle for some amazing eye candy! If you've came here Sharon Covert's blog post then you know exactly what I'm talking about! If you haven't... head over to Stacey's blog post from Soul Threading, she is such an inspiration! (click the word "blog" to link to their post!)

This month has been so wonderful, not only with my family but also professionally! I learned this month that I was accepted into the pro program at In Beauty & Chaos which is a fabulous forum and place where photographers can learn, grow, inspire and be inspired. This was such a huge goal of mine and I am so excited to have accomplished it! I'm hoping to do some fun things with it in the future<3

In addition to that great news we've just had so much fun this month. Lots of trips to Cape Cod, New Hampshire, the farm, backyard adventures and time with cousins! Here are some of my favorite highlights<3

Masssachusetts Photographer | Kyle's Cake Smash

Oh boy am I excited to blog this session! This family is the sweetest and the most adorable 4 ever. Their sweet little boy turns one this month and mom and dad (and his sweet sis) let him have at it in their backyard. I think he likes cake a bit<3
We fit in a mini family session, some portraits and then let him get to business.

Life Unscripted | Vol. 10

Thanks for joining!! If you've come from Sharon's blog, thank you! We spent this past weekend up in New Hampshire and it happened to be bike week! Look it up if you're not familiar...  basically everyone in New England who is motorcycle crazed comes up north and rides all weekend. It's actually pretty crazy and definitely something I enjoyed!
We also went boating... and that's just the best ever.
I missed the circle last month but I am so excited to share these images on the blog for June! Follow the circle and check out the talented Natalie of Act Naturally Photography-- follow the circle by going to her blog here.

New England Wedding Photographer | Root & Bud | Yale, New Haven, CT

Root & Bud is still waiting on a website, but I have gotten the chance to blog our very first wedding as a team! Sarah Driscoll and I partnered up and had the best time together capturing Jake Sullivan and Maggie Woodlander's special day. They couldn't have dreamt up a more beautiful venue. The sun was shining over Yale University and they were wed right where their love began.
Their love was contagious. We wish them nothing but the very best and were so honored to capture their beautiful union.

Cheers to Jake & Maggie!

Falmouth Massachusetts | Couples on the Beach | Falmouth Heights

Over the weekend I had my very first beach session in Falmouth! The weather was perfect. The sun was gorgeous and lucky me, I had the sweetest couple to photograph! I'm so excited to do more of these :)
Enjoy enjoy!

Massachusetts Maternity Photographer

My very best friend from college is expecting her first son in just a few weeks. Of course, so many emotions go through my head... how did we get so old and how do we have kids? is what comes to mind first...

but then I just think about how we clicked from day one and how she's one of the best women I know and how she's going to make such an incredible mother.
I can't wait to meet your sweet son. Most of all, I can't wait till you fall in love as hard as I now you're going to when you meet him<3

Enjoy these last few weeks carrying him close... xo

Central Massachusetts | Fresh 48 | St. Vincent's Hospital, Worcester

Oh this family... they welcomed their third son into the world just over a week ago and my GOSH is he a dream boat. Mom and I spoke and we talked about capturing just the candid, raw, unposed moments during the first days of his life. There's nothing I enjoy more than just freezing happy moments in time. This family is beautiful inside and out and I hope they look back on these images and feel nothing but joy and love<3

Congratulations to this amazing family of 5.

Massachusetts Lifestyle Maternity Photographer

Maternity sessions are one of my favorite if not my ALL time favorite sessions to do. Why? So many reasons... pregnancy encompasses so much beauty, both inside and out. Lots of women are vulnerable during this time in their lives, and while vulnerable, they are the strongest they've ever been.
Being able to capture this beauty for women is beyond a treat as a mother, woman and photographer. I hope that the mamas-to-be that I work with look at these images when their babies are grown, look back and say, "I am beautiful."

Massachusetts Newborn Photographer | Fresh 48

Fresh 48. What is it? So many people are unsure about this type of session so I'd love to explain it a little deeper.

Fresh 48 is my very favorite session for families. It's a small moment in time when the world stops and you're just completely focused on this new life you've created and welcomed into your loving arms. Documenting this time in your life is truly amazing. Looking back on images of your child's wrinkly and fresh baby feet, or how small their head is cradled in dad's hands are priceless. These are the details you'll long for and wish desperately to get back. Capturing them and having a professional do nothing but seek these moments out for you to keep forever is a gift!

A Fresh 48 session is taken place during visiting hours only. It is a quicker session as it is under an hour and it is solely to capture the beautiful moments of those first few days of life. It is intimate and it is surreal and there is truly NOTHING like it. Nothing posed, nothing forced, just straight joy and beauty.

I had the honor and pleasure of photographing my best friends baby just hours after he entered this world. Their first born. I can't express the joy I felt walking into that room. It was quiet. It was emotional and it was happy. So very happy.
He was born after the sun went down and I went back a few days later. I'm so happy to hand these over to them.

A session definitely worth considering <3

Another month of this fabulous blog circle! If you're visiting from Tiffany's circle, thanks for following the circle! If not, you should definitely go check out the beautiful eye candy she's shared this month!
This month is tough. March is NOT my favorite. It is my birthday month, but it's the beginning of the month, which leaves the entire rest of the month long and cold. For lots of you, Spring is in bloom! For us, the snow is still piled on the ground melting every so slowly... I can only hope that April brings us warmer weather and little buds a bloomin'! We did get out for a few warm days.. it was a balmy 40 degrees! haha.. we will take it!
Here are some of my favorite images from this month... I hope you enjoy!

Stick around and follow our circle to the very talented and sweet Crystal's post.... Thanks for joining us, Happy Spring!! <3

Massachusetts Maternity Session | Window Light

Last week I had the absolute PLEASURE photographing two beautiful women. They are sisters by marriage and really great friends by choice. One beautiful lady at 23 weeks with her first baby & son and the other at 31 weeks with her third son.

We had nothing but a little window light and we made magic. With lots of creativity and some good old fashioned free lensing, we got some dreamy and sultry images they'll be able to look back and remember how beautiful they looked & felt<3

Life {Unscripted} Vol. 6 | Massachusetts Photographer

Hi everyone! Thanks for joining us for this months blog circle over at Life Unscripted! Many of you have landed here from AnnMarie's page and I'm sure it left you wanting more!
It's been super cold and snowy here in New England and due to our last big blizzard, I was unable to participate in last month's blog circle, so I have lots to share! Thanks for being here, as always!

Be sure to follow the circle to and click here to see the fabulous Kristin Bakker's blog :) Thanks for stopping by!

Massachusetts Maternity Photographer | Indoor Maternity Session

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing a sweet mama to be for the second time! This beauty is due in March with a little boy! His big sister was the sweetest thing giving mama and baby brother some love throughout the entire session. I love sessions where the client allows me to dig deep and get creative, that was exactly what happened for this session. I reached in my camera bag and grabbed my loved Lensbaby edge80 and went to town. I love the dreamy feeling it gives. I love images that are focused on part of the subject that tells a story while the remainder is softly blurred out. For a maternity session, I've realized that is exactly the type of look I want. I want each image to emphasize the beauty of the mother-to-be in a unique way. I absolutely had a blast with this session and I think these beautiful ladies did too! <3

Project 52 | 2015 WEEK 4 Central Mass Lifestyle Photographer

Week four! Last week of January on the blog today<3
One of my very favorite series is up form last week of our son, Grant admiring his father's Trident. Nothing sweeter than a little boy admiring his father. I am happy to have captured a few of these special moments to look back on down the road.

This week was a little, for lack of better terms, "blah"... we had a big blizzard hit us and the snow JUST. KEEPS. COMING. We've spent a lot of time inside to say the least. But on an eventful note, our sweet niece turned three!! <3
I don't know about any other New Englander's but I am itching for the Spring already! yikes... we have a ways to go.

 Here's to another week!

Project 52 | WEEK 3 Central MA Photographer

Three weeks down in January and we are in the last few days of the month! Woah! Where does the time go? We got SO MUCH snow these past few days. These snowy pictures were taken Saturday, before the blizzard that happened on Tuesday of this week. TOO MUCH snow, but they make for some pretty pictures. Here is week three of my project 52!

Lots of the same going on here, indoor shots, and shots of the boys... not a lot of room for variety these days! <3

Kelly & Will | Central Mass Engagement Photographer

I had the honor and pleasure of capturing some sweet moments for this newly engaged couple. The images were taken at the Old Stone Church in West Boylston, Massachusetts and man was it the perfect back drop for these two. It was bitter and cold but they managed to bring such warmth and light to these images... must be all the looove<3

There's no doubt these two have a beautiful future ahead of them. Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorite images from this wintery engagement session.

Project 52 | 2015 WEEK 2 Central Mass Lifestyle Photographer

Two weeks have passed in 2015 and I'm blogging my favorite images from the week :)
This week was a little quiet. I'm having a hard time being limited to mostly indoors. I'm trying to find my creative mojo but it hasn't quite come to me at home yet... I still have about 3 more months to figure out indoor shooting. Here are my favorites!

I've been spending a little more time at home with them these past few weeks... sometimes I want to pull my hair out, but lots of times I remind myself to soak it all in. I enjoyed myself this week :)
